- How it's computed
- Sum of each firm's capex for the latest fiscal year in which all five have filed (2025), from the hyperscaler-capex series. Cash paid for property & equipment from each company's 10-K (XBRL tag PaymentsToAcquirePropertyPlantAndEquipment; Amazon falls back to PaymentsToAcquireProductiveAssets where needed). Fiscal years differ: Microsoft ends June, Oracle ends May. Excludes finance leases, so understates total spend for Microsoft/Amazon. Latest year may be missing for firms that have not yet filed.
